**One Week In-House Training in CA

As a Listing Editor, you’ll write compelling live entertainment event copy that inspires our 5 million (and growing!) members to go out more and try something new.

This job is a great fit if you’re skilled at: fast online research, zeroing-in on the most interesting details of a given topic, writing in a friendly, natural voice, using a content management system, editing to AP style, and fact-checking data.

This position reports to the Editorial Manager and Director. You’ll be required to work according to editorial guidelines and be extremely detail oriented. In addition to writing and editing, you’ll enter ticket allotments and show dates/times with speed and accuracy. There’s a required week of paid in-house training at our office in Pasadena, Calif.

On the job, you’ll work a certain number of set hours and then be asked to put in additional hours on an as-needed basis depending on workflow. There’s some flexibility in the schedule, and your regular weekly hours will be decided on by you and your manager.

Living in the Los Angeles area is not required, but is highly preferred so you can attend meetings and ongoing trainings.

Schedule

Approx. 5-20 hours a week. Exact hours TBD in collaboration with the selected candidate. Flexibility is a must, and the ability to work weekends a huge plus.
